Full Buck Moon July 13th 2022: DIY Workbook and Journal Prompts

Writer: Lak'wehLak'weh

Hey everyone, love to see you here and I am so grateful and pleased every time I write a post and someone messages me about it. Seriously, I am grateful for every single one of you. You mean a lot to me. I love you all.

It's currently 3:15am and I am so fully immersed in Buck Moon energy that it seems like the only good thing to do at this hour is to write...and keep on writing.

So in this moment of inspiration and deep channel and flow with our dear sister Moon, I have a little workbook of prompts for you to work into your journaling, your notes app, a word document, or even if you just want to answer them to yourself in your head as you read. Anything's cool with me as long as it works for you.

This DIY Workshop is purely for self-reflection, growth, and to take a peek at ourselves from a secondary perspective, in a non-reactive space. Please take time to sit with yourself, and work through it if you do feel any strong reactions come through. This is a space where we learn how to accept ourselves more deeply, and understand where we're speaking and acting from, and where we want to be as we heal.

A few considerations for this Death-Letting Go-Rebirth process that we are moving through strongly.

In consideration of your Life Path, your Purpose, Your Career, your Calling:

Sit down in a quiet space free of distractions, free of things that will pull us out of our process, and take your paper and pen, your laptop, phone, or yourself with you for this session.

Take a few moments to clear and center yourself. Stretch your back, your arms, your legs, your neck, and relax the muscles in your face. Massage your hands for a moment, and focus on releasing tension out of your body.

If you feel called to meditate, light incense, smudge, or sit for any prayer, body work, or energetic work process, this is a good time for it.

We are calling in our Higher Self for this exercise, to assist us by guiding us into a space of clear vision without judgement or fear. This is an exercise of courage, as it takes a whole lot of that to be honest with ourselves!

  • What is the highest desire that I would express if I allowed my inner child to collaborate with my adult self here and now? What is it that captures my interest, hones my focus, and fills my heart with joy?

  • Do I allow myself to freely express this interest of my heart's innermost desire, or do I block and protect it? When I tune into this sensation of lack of safety, where does it sit in my body? (Throat/face- Throat chakra, third eye chakra/speaking up for myself/trusting my vision. Abdomen- solar plexus chakra/confidence/self worth, Feet/legs- Unwilling to move my feet, fear of leaving home, exhaustion, etc)

  • How would expressing that interest truthfully from my heart (if this is something I am currently working through), help others to attain self-acceptance, self-love, and to express their own similar or same interests?

  • How would this expression add value and joy to the lives of others? How would it reflect that joy back to me in witnessing the unfolding of their self discovery and expression?

  • What would I do with that interest and joy if I had the absolute highest attainable self-confidence, motivation, and endless funds for my interest?

  • What is holding me back from achieving birthing that interest into reality here and now? What are the physical aspects? What are the mental and emotional aspects?

  • Do I ever feel jealousy for people living out my life's dreams, or feel like I'm unworthy of what I desire the most? How does this reflect back to myself in where I hold back?

  • Now, looking at what we just wrote/jotted down/thought about the mental and physical barriers: Is this something I'm willing to overcome in my lifetime? Do I want to? Do I allow myself to ask for help when I need it? Why or why not?

  • Is it worth holding back my own free expression to appease a part of my wounding that I am feeding with my valuable time and energy?

  • Today, this week, next year, etc, if I want to begin moving towards this space of liberated, fulfilling, and truthful expression, what are the steps I can make today to feed into this healing space? What routines increase my confidence/focus/healing and have I have been avoiding or falling out of them? How can I be more honest with myself in my thoughts and feelings and routine? Where do I need to call back my own power and reclaim my voice and sovereignty?

  • And lastly, how often do I show myself deep gratitude for the process that I have been through, that I am working through, and that I know I'll be healing in the future? Have I offered gratitude to myself for letting myself see and feel my blockages? Do I offer gratitude to myself for letting myself experience what it's like to be perfectly me at every moment?

After all of this contemplation, and maybe writing, and maybe typing, or maybe balling up a paper and throwing it in the recycling bin (hey, I do that too when I want to let go of something), offer a few moments of gratitude for yourself, for expressing this honesty towards you and towards your path and growth.

The first step to overcoming blockages is admitting you had a problem. Actually, it's admitting that you thought you had a problem, and misconstrued an energy towards yourself, and then believed the story that you told to yourself.

Through reframing situations, even the most painful, halting, jaw-dropping situations that we encounter, we can empower ourselves to see that through acceptance, allowance, letting our energy stretch out and breathe, we can overcome our mental blockages, which will affect our thoughts, words, and actions, and will begin to provide a positive spiral in our life that offers solutions, blessings, and an abundance of good things.

Thanks for joining me in this workshop-- don't worry, I'm doing it with you, answering for myself as I went along these questions and re-read them.

Enjoy this Full Moon on Wednesday and be blessed!

Thank you.
